Beatnic (Successor: INDAY): The "Integrated Legacy" Anchor for Urban Fast-Casual & Wellness Districts. Originally launched as the viral sensation by CHLOE. in 2015, the brand was rebranded as Beatnic in 2021 following a high-profile legal separation from founder Chloe Coscarelli and a Chapter 11 reorganization. Defined by its "100% Vegan, 100% Delicious" ethos, Beatnic served as a primary Plant-Based Lifestyle Anchor for nearly a decade. However, entering 2026, the brand has completed its transition into the INDAY ecosystem. Following its acquisition in December 2023 by the New York-based Indian fast-casual chain INDAY, the majority of physical Beatnic storefronts in NYC and Boston were converted into INDAY locations by late 2024. For developers, the "Beatnic footprint" now represents a shift toward Ayurvedic-inspired wellness dining, combining the operational efficiency of the original vegan model with INDAY’s expanded global flavor profile (including the reintroduction of responsibly sourced animal proteins).
