Custom Comfort Mattress

Custom Comfort Mattress: The High-Fidelity "American Craftsmanship" Anchor for Luxury Sleep. Founded in 1986 by the Trudell family, Custom Comfort Mattress (customcomfortmattress.com) is a world-class mattress manufacturer and retailer defined by its "Old-Fashioned Integrity" and traditional construction methods. Specializing in handcrafted, double-sided mattresses made from natural and organic materials—including all-American steel, eco-latex, wool, and cotton—the brand serves as a critical Lifestyle & Wellness Anchor in Southern California. Unlike mass-market competitors, Custom Comfort operates a vertically integrated model: they are the factory, the showroom, and the delivery service. For developers, the brand represents a stabilized, high-credit tenant that drives affluent, high-intent traffic to premier design districts and lifestyle centers (e.g., West Hollywood’s Design District and Pasadena’s Green Street). Currently executing a 2026 Strategy of Regional Dominance, the brand maintains 8 high-performance showrooms across Los Angeles and Orange County, leveraging a "Personal Mattress Fitting" model that converts high-dwell-time consultations into lifetime brand loyalty.
