Kroger

The Nation’s Largest Traditional Grocer & Premier Anchor Tenant Kroger is a dominant force in the U.S. retail landscape, serving as a high-traffic Anchor Tenant for community, power, and neighborhood centers. With a strategic focus on National Expansion, Kroger is aggressively growing its physical footprint, targeting a 30% increase in new store builds for 2026. The brand seeks prime real estate for its diverse formats, ranging from standard supermarkets to massive "Marketplace" concept stores that feature apparel and home goods. Ideal sites prioritize high-visibility corners in growing residential corridors, offering landlords a credit-worthy tenant that drives consistent daily foot traffic. Their Tenant Representation strategy involves securing flexible deal structures, including ground leases and build-to-suit opportunities, to support their omnichannel retail evolution.
