Regal Cinemas

Regal Cinemas is a premier entertainment anchor tenant providing high-volume foot traffic and destination-driven value to regional malls, lifestyle centers, and power centers across North America. As a dominant force in the cinema industry, Regal operates a vast portfolio of over 400 theaters, making them a cornerstone of any retail site selection strategy for developers seeking a reliable and high-impact entertainment component. Their leasing requirements typically focus on large-scale footprints ranging from 30,000 to over 60,000 square feet, often serving as the primary anchor tenant that draws a diverse target demographic into prime retail corridors. Regal’s expansion strategy prioritizes high-visibility locations with excellent accessibility, ample parking, and proximity to strong national co-tenants such as Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and premium dining options. Whether through mall inline conversions or standalone outparcels, Regal Cinemas utilizes sophisticated tenant rep insights to identify markets with significant population density and limited competition, ensuring long-term profitability and sustained consumer engagement.
