About Visionworks
Visionworks: The Leading Architect of Integrated Optical Healthcare and Retail Founded in 1988 and headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Visionworks is the premier optical retail and healthcare anchor for Tier-1 Regional Malls, Power Centers, and High-Street medical-retail corridors. As a cornerstone of the VSP Vision portfolio (the largest vision insurance provider in the U.S.), Visionworks enters 2026 as a dominant "Med-Tail" powerhouse with over 750 locations across 40 states. The 2026 retail model—defined by the "Total Eye Care Hub"—seamlessly integrates independent Doctors of Optometry with a high-volume retail showroom featuring over 1,500 frame options including exclusive brands like Longchamp, Calvin Klein, and Nike. For landlords, Visionworks represents an institutional-grade "Triple-A" credit tenant that drives consistent, necessity-based foot traffic and serves as a recession-resistant anchor in the evolving healthcare-retail landscape.
