1 Seattle Hotel to open in South Lake Union with sustainable luxury focus

The former Pan Pacific Hotel in South Lake Union is set to reopen as 1 Seattle Hotel, embracing a sustainable luxury concept inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s natural elements. The 153-room property will feature fully electric Audi Q8 e-tron house cars and a design rooted in eco-conscious hospitality, with reservations now open for stays beginning in April.

Renovations include the debut of La Loba, a new restaurant by James Beard-nominated chef Oscar Amador Edo, offering Spanish, Japanese, and Mediterranean flavors. The hotel will also introduce the Rainier Ballroom, a modern event space with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace, along with a fitness center featuring Peloton bikes. Managed by SH Hotels & Resorts, 1 Seattle Hotel joins the growing portfolio of 1 Hotels, with properties in New York, Miami, San Francisco, and beyond.
