Bed Bath & Beyond Returning Through New Container Store Format

By Brandmarch1 min read

Bed Bath & Beyond is returning to physical retail through a new partnership and store conversion strategy with The Container Store.

Nearly 100 Container Store locations nationwide are being remodeled into a combined Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond format, with conversions beginning this month. The new concept will combine home organization, storage, and in-home services with an expanded assortment of Bed Bath & Beyond home products.

As part of the transition, The Container Store is discontinuing roughly 30% of existing merchandise to create space for the new rollout.

The move follows Bed Bath & Beyond’s acquisition of The Container Store, Elfa, and Closet Works, reflecting a broader push toward a more integrated home retail platform.

The rollout is another example of retailers using existing store footprints and established trade areas to relaunch brands, rather than starting from scratch with new locations.
