+1

Not the demographics in their site criteria PDF. The real ones. Income, daytime population, education, age, ownership, and where you sit against the middle 80% of their fleet.

The example in the slides is Brook 35 & West in Sea Girt, NJ, our top recommendation for lululemon in New Jersey. Income, education and home ownership sit above almost every lululemon store. The trade area is also older and about half the size. Not a perfect match, and that's the point. You know what their real estate team is going to say before they say it, and you walk in with the answer.

Works brand against brand too. lululemon vs. Vuori: same customer on age, households and ownership; Vuori's stores sit in richer, better-educated trade areas. Useful when you're deciding which one to chase first.

Pick a brand and see where they belong.
