Caffe Nero to open in former Starbucks space on Boston's Boylston Street

Caffè Nero, a UK coffee chain, will be taking over the former Starbucks unit at 443 Boylston Street in Boston by early- to mid 2025. The Starbucks had shut down back in February 2023, eight months after workers there voted to unionize. The Caffe Nero chain, which has a strong international footprint, currently has 40 U.S. locations, with 28 in the Boston area.
