Former Beidelman Furniture Site Positioned for Retail or Restaurant Use in Downtown Naperville

Ellsworth Partners has acquired the former Beidelman Furniture building at 235–239 S. Washington St. in Downtown Naperville for $3.75 million.

The 17,750-square-foot, three-story property is being positioned for future retail or restaurant use, with the potential for either multiple tenants or one larger operator.

Planned improvements include updates to the building’s plumbing, HVAC, and elevator systems, along with a potential restoration of the original second- and third-floor windows, subject to city approval due to the property’s landmark status.

The acquisition puts a historic downtown asset back into play and creates a meaningful retail opportunity in one of Naperville’s most visible corridors.
