Levain Bakery Expanding to Coconut Grove, Joining Miami’s Growing Dessert Retail Cluster
Levain Bakery, the New York City–based concept known for its oversized cookies, plans to open its first Miami location this fall in Coconut Grove at 2979 McFarlane Rd., near CocoWalk.
Founded in 1995 on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Levain has expanded nationally with locations in markets including Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.
For brokers tracking tenant demand in South Florida, the move adds another nationally recognized dessert concept to Coconut Grove’s retail mix—joining an already dense cluster of specialty dessert operators and quick-serve food brands in the district.
The location signals continued interest from established national brands targeting high-foot-traffic urban neighborhoods within Miami’s core retail corridors.
