Apollo Hall opens in Larimer Square, reviving Denver's first theater

A new event venue has debuted in Larimer Square, bringing a historic name back to life. Apollo Hall, located inside the Congdon Building at 1427 Larimer St., honors Denver’s first theater, which originally opened in 1859.
The 400-person space features a 40-foot bar, coat check, and private catering room, with renters able to cater through Larimer Square’s top restaurants, including those led by James Beard award-winning chefs. Managed by Denver-based Spacemakers, the venue blends modern event hosting with a rich historical backdrop in the heart of the city.
