King Street Hideout to bring beachy vibes to Upper King this spring

A new garden bar and club is set to open on Charleston’s Upper King Street this spring. King Street Hideout will take over the former Barsa space at 630 King St., transforming it into a lively, beach-inspired escape with a seafoam green palette, lush plants, and palm trees.

Co-owned by Nick Held and Zach Dennis, the venue will feature a DJ booth, pool table, and projector screens inside, while the outdoor patio will offer cabanas and lounge seating. With a focus on fun and approachability, the new bar aims to bring fresh energy to the rapidly developing Upper King district.
