John Heffington, Local Expert for Austin, Texas' 2nd Street District, shares his 2025 wish for the area: "Downtown really could use more casual sit down dining. Plenty of fast casual and white table cloth restaurants exist, but there is a hole for more polished, casual sit down dining that could be filled with the right tenant. I'd also like to see more retail come to 2nd Street. We’ve had a few retail-focused tenants come to this District, and all performed well. It would be great to see that continue."
