Milk Bar debuts in Fulton Market with exclusive Chicago treats

Milk Bar has arrived in Chicago, opening its first Midwest location at the Hoxton Hotel in Fulton Market. Founded by acclaimed pastry chef Christina Tosi, the dessert shop partnered with Boka Restaurant Group to secure its spot at 200 N. Green St. Originally set to open in 2019, the plan was delayed by the pandemic until Boka’s Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm offered what Tosi called the ideal opportunity.
Nestled on the hotel’s ground floor, the intimate space features a glowing pink neon “Milk” sign, a treat-filled display case, and cozy seating. Paying tribute to Chicago’s iconic flavors, the menu includes the Portillo’s Chocolate Cake Cookie, a rich, fudgy take on the beloved cake, and the “Chicago Bomb,” a playful twist on the classic hot dog packed with local toppings.
