About Lloyd Center
Lloyd Center was a pioneering 1.47-million-square-foot super-regional mall that opened in 1960 in Portland's Lloyd District, featuring a historic indoor ice rink and three levels of retail space. Once among the country's largest shopping centers, the mall underwent enclosure in the late 1980s and underwent significant repositioning before permanently closing on August 8, 2026, with plans for mixed-use redevelopment.
