Uncle Julio's

Uncle Julio’s: Polished Casual Mexican Dining for High-Volume Lifestyle Centers Uncle Julio’s is a premier polished casual dining concept renowned for its "scratch kitchen" philosophy, where every dish—from the mesquite-grilled fajitas to the handmade tamales—is prepared fresh daily. Recently acquired by Sun Holdings (one of the largest multi-unit franchise operators in the U.S.), the brand is pivoting toward aggressive national expansion. Uncle Julio’s serves as a powerful anchor tenant for lifestyle centers, high-end power centers, and urban entertainment districts, drawing affluent families and professionals with its high-energy atmosphere, signature "Swirl" margaritas, and interactive "Chocolate Piñata" desserts. Under new ownership, the brand is exploring versatile footprints, ranging from their traditional flagship estates to agile, cantina-style prototypes designed for densified trade areas.
