Highly anticipated new coffee shop and bar, Radio Rosewood, open in East Austin

Austin favorite Radio Coffee has opened its third location, Radio Rosewood, at 1115 E. 11th St., taking over the former Try Hard Coffee space. The new spot brings a sleek, modern design with leather bench seating and pendant lighting while maintaining the brand’s signature outdoor seating and local art.

A major update is the expansion of Shortwave Diner, now operating from a full kitchen for the first time. The menu features hot dogs, breakfast sandwiches, and bowls, adding to the café’s offerings. Unlike its music-focused second location or the community-driven original, Radio Rosewood leans into cocktails over events, carving out its own unique identity in the city’s coffee scene.
