Salomon Opens Third NYC Store on the Upper West Side
French outdoor and performance brand Salomon has opened an 812-square-foot store at 270 Columbus Ave. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, marking its third New York City location in less than two years. The store features the brand’s largest NYC assortment of performance running apparel, footwear and hydration accessories, alongside its growing Sportstyle offering.
Located near Central Park, the new store reflects a more neighborhood-specific merchandising strategy compared to Salomon’s SoHo and Williamsburg locations, which lean more heavily into lifestyle product. The expansion follows recent openings in Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City as the brand continues its North American retail growth.
