New Anthropologie store to open on Chicago's N State Street, near Rush Street

A new 16,000-square-foot Anthropologie store is set to open at 1050 N. State Street in Chicago, located on the ground floor of the 53-story Newberry Plaza condominium tower. The building's lower three floors are being revamped into a fresh retail space, tentatively named Newberry on the Triangle. While a specific opening date for Anthropologie has not been confirmed, another tenant in the redevelopment, the Canadian restaurant called Moxies, announced it will open in spring 2026. The Anthropologie store that had been located on 108 N State Street permanently closed in January 2025.
